Northern Rivers region of New South Wales.

retail music stores, pet clubs, birds & poultry
clubs, motels, painters and cafes. Tourism is
also an important part of the economy. Green
Pigeon's proximity to natural landmarks and
attractions such as the World Heritage-listed
Wollumbin National Park Border helps improve
tourism activity. Different vantage points from
the Cudgen Nature Reserve, Border Ranges
National Parl, Nightcap National Park and Cape
Byron Lighthouse offer a stunning view of the
remainder of an ancient volcano's central vent
in the Wollumbin Park.
The nearest town to Green Pigeon is Kyogle
about 17.7 km away. Kyogle has a population of
about around 2,700 (based on the 2001
census).
